I Just Got Gamespot Being Bias About The Ps3 Version Of Madden

if you remember when gamespot did there camparison of the ps3, and the other system games,they tryed to state the the other system graphics of madden was better than the ps3, because of the stadium shadows that appear when you play. I played madden last night and i noticed the the ps3 version did have showdos and infact they where deeper and sharper than the other system version. The setting that puts shadows out, is when your playing in th 4:15 mode for the time of day.

so when gs did the comparisen they purposly put the 360 version on the 4:15 time of day mode and didnt for the ps3, there for making the shadows appear on the the 360 and not the ps3 version. I emailed them last night, telling them how bias they are and everything,and look what they did.

they snuck in an update, like it was nothing. like people are actually reading this now. hahahahahahahaahahhahah then they state that you cant see the reebock symble on the ps3, when clearly when you look at the pic, you can see it right there.


i really belive ms has gamespot, on the money roll. i mean comparing rushed launch games to 2nd gen games, u have got to be kiding me, no wonder they gave full auto2 for a waaaay lower score than the gave the full auto for 360. we need to spread this.

also for the comparison, they refused to use hdmi cables for the games for ps3, and cod and fight night are plaing in 480p, they thought that the ps3 would upscale the game for thouse game but it didnt concidering thegames where created before the update to the sdk units devs have.

Fight Night Round 3 at 480i still looks leagues better than the 360 version. Not being biased, but EA really did overhaul the textures for the PS3 version to photo-realistic levels. If they were still able to find "flaws" after that, it's just their agenda showing.

FNR3 is night and day better on PS3. but who has both a 360 and PS3 so everyone will take GS as gospel.

I couldn't tell the difference on the real games either.

Good catch dude. Despite this flawed comparison, I still find GS to have the best text reviews on the web, I dont pay attention to their scores.

yes it dose not look likethe crowed ported over well to the ps3, but everything eles including the backgrounds on the ps3 version looks vastly better.
i have a ps3, andmy cousin has the 360, we have rented all thouse games displayed on gs, and we have came to a conclusion the the games on the ps3 look sharper, because of the hdmi, but games like nba 2k7 and fight night clearly show beter textures and everthing, that was made for the ps3 version of the game, and is not in the 3609 version. the cloth on the ps3 version of 2k7 moves waaaaay beter than it ever did on the 360

My roommates both respectively own a 360 and a PS3. When PS3 roomie rented FNR3, even 360 roomie had to acknowledge the graphical superiority. But we had to concede to the atrocious loading times.

the long load time is what happens when you have to rush a game to meet launch. not to add the fact that devs didnt get finel dev kits till aug

the 'inferior lighting' is actually ass backwards. You're seeing the ps3 using 128 bit hdr lighting, whereas the 360's is washing out and more intense than it should be.

Yes, you're missing Gamespot taking lousy shots of the PS3 version. It looks better in the GS shots because the real PS3 version looks better than that.

The mantra that "all multiplatform games look better on 360" is rubbish.

Just errm... Most. :lol But scoring Fight Night R3 is a huge coup, it's one of the best looking 360 games.

Not sure if this is due to bad intent or just incompetent poorly thought out comparisons... Honestly it could be a bit of both, because it seems like most gaming outlets want to prove the PS3 is not worth the price tag. It's just unfortunate that Sony has done a poor job of communication only escalating the problem.
